There are also more than 200 complaints of vehicle theft, dozens of forced disappearances, and 45 alleged members of criminal groups arrested.
As of Friday, September 27, at least 98 people have been killed since the beginning of a wave of violence unleashed in the state on September 9, due to the conflict between Los Chapitos and La Mayiza, as the factions of the Sinaloa Cartel call themselves, after the capture of Ismael El Mayo Zambada, according to the Interinstitutional Coordination on National Security.
During those 19 days of violence, the authorities also registered more than 200 complaints for other crimes such as vehicle theft and forced disappearances, and managed to arrest at least 45 people, among whom stands out Mario Alexander N, alias El Piyi, who is pointed out as the head of security for Los Chapitos.
Since September 9, a series of clashes have broken out in different places, mainly in the center of the state. The first was between armed civilians around 6:00 a.m. on Francisco I. Madero Boulevard in Culiacán, where two trucks were left riddled with bullets and abandoned in that area.
Two hours later, the municipality of Costa Rica was the epicenter of an intense confrontation. In the operation, 12 vehicles used in the shooting were seized.
On September 17 in Eldorado, according to reports from federal authorities. Some residents told El Sol de Sinaloa that since dawn, gunmen had been involved in altercations in the town, and that the confrontation lasted more than three hours.
Among the reported clashes, civilians have been injured, such is the case of four agricultural workers from Quila, who were hit by bullets in a crossfire in the early hours of September 11.

Another incident occurred on the afternoon of September 21, when federal forces confronted hitmen in the Clamont departments, in the Tres RÃos area. The final result was three civilians killed, three soldiers wounded and one person arrested.
Tres RÃos is an exclusive area in the northern part of Culiacán that experienced a great expansion due to the construction of large shopping malls, hotels, and apartment complexes.
Faced with the wave of violence, in La Primavera, a complex with controlled access in the most exclusive sector of Culiacán, they opted on September 9 to block access with a tanker truck to prevent access to gunmen or people linked to organized crime. Politicians and internationally renowned businessmen live in this area, although there is access to people who work in companies located within the housing complex.
In recent days, on Friday night, authorities found an abandoned van in the capital of Sinaloa, in which there were six lifeless men wrapped in black plastic.
