Morena could be led by the current Secretary of the Interior, Luisa María Alcalde, and AMLO’s son, Andrés Manuel López Beltrán
Andrés Manuel López Beltrán, son of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, is being encouraged by the National Councilors of Morena in Tabasco to join as a candidate to be the general secretary of the left-wing party.
This was announced by Joaquín Baños Jiménez, leader of Morena in Tabasco, who indicated that in the next internal contest, the formula could be made up of the current Secretary of the Interior, Luisa María Alcalde, as national leader, and the son of the president as general secretary.
President López Obrador avoided talking about the candidacy of his son Andrés Manuel López Beltrán as a candidate for general secretary of Morena during his morning conference this Friday, September 6th and indicated that he will talk about this issue on Monday, September 9th.
