TikToker Asneydi García, originally from Colombia, was found dead inside the apartment she lived in in CDMX
Asneydi García, a well-known Colombian TikToker, was found dead in Mexico City.
The body of the 26-year-old woman was found inside the apartment she lived in in the Doctores neighborhood of the Cuauhtémoc municipality.
Initial reports indicate that Asneydi García was lying on her bed next to a stuffed animal that she showed off on social media last March.
It is presumed that she had been dead for several days, although the cause is not yet known.
The landlord told authorities that he had not heard from the young woman for 15 days.
Her boyfriend, a 48-year-old man with whom she lived, also stated that he had not had contact with her for several days.
The Mexico City Attorney General’s Office (FGJ) opened an investigation file for femicide.
Two Venezuelan men will be investigated, with whom Asneydi García was last seen.
The young woman had a son, who lives in Colombia.
