Puerto Escondido, aka the Mexican Pipeline, is capital “H” heavy.
It’s more of a gladiator pit, than a surf spot. Or a minefield. Or a shooting gallery with the surfers being the targets, the waves the ammunition, and nowhere to run.
And that’s just paddling out in the lineup, not to mention actually catching a wave.
