Mexico, May 15 (Prensa Latina) Mexico has received 11.3 million applications in the first three months of this year, including 9,418,684 foreigners with the intention of migrating mainly to the United States.
A broad report from the Ministry of the Interior indicated that the state of Quintana Roo reported the highest number of visits, with more than 4.8 million until May 14.
It noted that from January to March, 11.3 million arrivals were by air, sea and land, which represents an increase of 2,338,231 events, compared to the same period in 2022, when there were 8,986,145.

The document highlights the number of entries of nationals and foreigners, according to the federal entity, the latter with the intention of migrating.
In relation to the events of people with that purpose, but irregular, the report explains that during the above-mentioned period, there was an increase from 78,439 in 2022 to 111,505 this year.
The report shows that the main countries of nationality of people in an irregular migratory situation are Venezuela with 19,944, Ecuador with 14,883, and Guatemala with 13,349.
