The armed attack left five dead in San Francisco de los Romo, Aguascalientes
Inhabitants of San Francisco de los Romo in the state of Aguascalientes lived a violent day after five people lost their lives in an armed attack reported in the La Ribera subdivision.
On March 24, residents of the aforementioned housing complex heard firearm detonations, for which they immediately notified municipal authorities.
Testimonies compiled by the local press suggest that after 3:00 a.m. a black car -of which no license plate or model was specified- arrived at the La Ribera subdivision; inside the vehicle, there were at least three armed subjects who opened fire against a man who was on the sidewalk.
Upon noticing the presence of the armed command, the man ran into one of the departments of the subdivision with the intention of taking refuge, however, the alleged hitmen chased him into the building where they shot him, as well as the others. the other three people who were on the site.
It was unofficially reported that said apartment was used as a point of sale for narcotics, as well as that the three people who were attacked inside were women, however, said information has not been confirmed.
Just an hour later, authorities from the San Francisco de los Romo municipality received a report again in the same subdivision where the body of another person was located in a building located on Ixtlahuacán street.
