AMLO will receive Cuban president Diaz-Canell in Campeche

The President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, confirmed this Thursday that he will meet on Saturday with his Mexican counterpart, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, in Campeche, and announced that he will carry out a tour that also includes Belize.

“We will be in Campeche this weekend to meet with the dear president @lopezobrador_, and continue to strengthen relations between #Cuba and #Mexico, which are more than endearing. We will also make an official visit to Belize, a sister nation of the Caribbean,” said Díaz- Canel in a message on social networks.

Marcelo Ebrard said that Díaz-Canel’s visit will address issues such as the production and supply of vaccines and medical equipment.

He added that in the talks with the Cuban president, “there will probably be other economic issues, we will see on Saturday what can be achieved, but I think it will essentially be medical issues and pharmaceutical equipment and that kind of thing,” Marcelo Ebrard concluded.
