Ciudad Victoria, the capital of Tamaulipas, will have a better air connection, as a flight from the Aeroméxico company will start in March.
The announcement was made on Monday, January 30th, by the company and later replicated by municipal and state authorities.
The airline announced that it will begin flights this year, which will depart from the international airport of Mexico City to Colima, Cozumel, and Tepic, starting on March 26, and Ciudad Victoria, starting on March 27.
The vice president of the Aeroméxico group, José Zapata, informed that in total there are four new routes that the company will begin to operate.

Aeroméxico thanked the Government of Tamaulipas for its interest in better connecting the country, mainly with areas such as Ciudad Victoria where the air supply is low.
In this way, the people of Victoria will have two flight options to Mexico City: Aeromar and Aeroméxico.
Despite being the capital of Tamaulipas, Ciudad Victoria has suffered for years from the lack of better air connectivity, in 2022 after the pandemic, the availability of flights at the “General Pedro J. Méndez” airport worsened.
