“Stop lying,” a woman shouted at President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on November 10th, while on board a plane in a commercial flight from Mexico City to Mérida, Yucatán.
A woman who got up from her seat and approached the president’s seat, stood right in front of him on the aisle, and cried out loud: “Renounce your lying answers,” she also accused the president of “destroying” the country, pointing her finger at him.
After 2:00 p.m., López Obrador boarded Aeroméxico flight 832, which left the Mexico City International Airport (AICM), bound for Mérida, Yucatan.
Inside the plane, a short-haired woman in a white sweater and dark pants stood up and reproached him from the aisle, before the eyes of passengers and crew.
“In reality, the only thing you have achieved has been to destroy our country. If you want to generate answers, give up to your lying,” she said.
“I love Mexico, I love Mexico, that’s why I demonstrate here, in front of the President and I defend my love of Mexico.”
After the reproaches, several passengers applauded the woman.
On Friday, November 11th, at 6:00 a.m., López Obrador held his daily security meeting in Mérida, accompanied by the security cabinet and local authorities.
Later, the Chief Executive held his usual morning conference at Military Air Base Number 8 in the Yucatecan capital.
