The bodies of 8 people reported missing found in Yucatan ranch

The bodies of seven people, presumably executed, were found on a ranch located in the municipality of Chikindzonot, more than 2 hours from Mérida, Yucatán.

The disappearance of the 7 people was reported on Thursday and Friday.

For their part, the Yucatan authorities have handled this discovery of bodies with total secrecy and it is only known that in the area of ​​difficult access there is a strong deployment of elements from the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense, who help with the investigations.

The disappeared are: José Luis Vallalpando Pat, 46 years old; Edgar Medina Romero, 19; Heber Crescencio Laneros Vidal, 40; Flavio César Roblero García, 24; David Azael Pool Poot, 22 years old, Moisés Nicolás Cuervo, 41 years old, and José Ismael Dzul Chan, 20 years old.

Although it has not been officially confirmed, it appears that the bodies correspond to people who were taken from different properties in the community of Mahahual and Xcalak, belonging to Othon P. Blanco, Quintana Roo.

The Prosecutor’s Offices of Yucatan and Quintana Roo have not yet reported anything officially, while the investigations into the disappearance of nine people on the coast of Mahahual are still ongoing and this finding could yield the first results on the whereabouts of the people who are still missing.
