Army intercepts aircraft with 400 kilos of cocaine in Oaxaca

 Last Monday, November 22, elements of the Mexican Army and Air Force secured an aircraft carrying 400 kilograms of cocaine in the municipality of Chahuites, Oaxaca.

In a statement, the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) explained that, when applying the surveillance and protection procedures of the national airspace, an illicit aircraft was detected, for which the air interception units, surveillance platforms were deployed. and ground and airborne reaction forces.

As a result of the monitoring carried out in the town of Trejo, Chahuites in the state of Oaxaca, the military personnel established a security fence and secured a Cessna C-182 aircraft, Registration N3940, proceeding to inspect it.

Inside, they found 13 sacks containing 390 packages of a white powder with characteristics typical of cocaine, weighing approximately 400 kilograms.

He pointed out that the insured aircraft and drug were made available to the corresponding authorities who will determine the chemical opinion and official weight, thereby preventing this type of addictive substance from reaching Mexican youth and affecting their integral development.
