(August 25, 2021).- With 986 deaths from Covid-19 in one day, Mexico registered the highest number of deaths so far in the third wave of the pandemic, for which the number of deaths rose to 255,452.

In addition, in the last 24 hours, infections amounted to 21,250, reaching a total of 3,271,128.

The five states that have accumulated the highest number of positive cases are Mexico City, State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, and Jalisco.

The national hospital occupancy in general beds remained at 54 percent and in beds, with a ventilator, it increased to 47 percent.
