The Government of Mexico seeks to promote the 132 Pueblos Mágicos as new tourist destinations for the Spanish travel market.

The Ministry of Tourism (Sectur) will participate in the First International Tianguis de Pueblos Mágicos, for which it hired an international commercial representation service of the Pueblos Mágicos brand through the payment of floor rights (physical space) to consolidate Mexico as one of the main tourist destinations worldwide.

According to official data, more than 95% of Spanish tourist arrivals to Mexico are mainly concentrated in Mexico City and Cancun (Quintana Roo), which is why we want to promote the diversification of the tourist market with the Magic Towns.

The company Euroamerica Publicity and Public Relations will be responsible for providing two adjoining rooms to the showroom with a total of 68 m2 of enclosure located in Barcelona, Spain, from April 22 to 24, 2022, but the main event will take place from April 18 to 25.

A Magic Town is a place with symbols and legends, towns with history, that in many cases have been the scene of historical events, places that show the national identity in each of its corners, with a magic that emanates from its attractions.

“Most Spanish tourists after the pandemic are looking for little saturated destinations,” said the agency.
