Third wave infections hit Guerrero and Jalisco faces hospital saturation


The speed of contagion by Covid-19 in Guerrero is “surprising”, so if the situation is not stabilized, the state could go from orange to red at the epidemiological risk traffic light, warned Governor Héctor Astudillo.

The Secretary of State Health, Carlos de la Peña Pintos, pointed out that 65 percent of hospital occupancy is accounted for by the virus, with 388 serious patients and 94 who are intubated.
