GOMEZ PALACIO, DURANGO.- The Gómez Palacio Astronomical Group (GAGA) invites the public to the Exhibition and Talk about the Collection of Certified Meteorites, owned by Rafael Blando Torres.
The event, which will take place this Tuesday, June 22 at 8:30 p.m. at the Casa de la Cultura Gómez Palacio, will allow attendees to appreciate 40 small specimens of meteorites, most of them landed in Alaska and Africa.

Blando Torres, originally from Mexico City, but a resident of the Lagunera region since 1994, became interested in astronomy from a very young age and in 2000 he began to buy a wide variety of meteorites.
Within the collection, some places such as Allende stand out, one from Mars (Dar Al Gani 476) and another from the asteroid Vesta.
