Valladolid, Yucatán. -His name is Diego Andrey Alcocer de La Rosa, he is 19 years old, has a mental disability and is known as “The traveling boy” of Valladolid, because he has left home several times and has appeared in other destinations from Mexico, such as Cancun and Mexico City.
Just last March 30, “The traveling child” escaped from his home in Valladolid after an argument with his mother, and on March 31 he appeared in Playa Tortugas, Cancun.
He was angry and said that he would go to Isla Mujeres and although his family did not believe him and thought he would return, the young man left.
Tourists found him in Playa Tortugas, Cancun and notified the authorities to be taken back to his family.
Before this trip to Cancun that was achieved through “rides” ordered by Diego Andrey , the “Child traveler” had traveled to Mexico City after disappearing at the end of December 2020.
On that occasion, he was lost for 25 days before being located on January 16, thanks to a woman who helped him when he told him he was lost and wanted to return home.
In the same way, as he went to Cancun and Mexico City, Diego Andrey Alcocer de La Rosa, also traveled and was found perdido en Chetumal and Progreso.

The family of “El Niño Traveler” has done a lot to prevent the young man from escaping, they have even asked taxi drivers who travel outside of Valladolid not to serve him, so that he does not go far.
