La Paz operative of Holy Week begins, with a first filter in El Molinito


The 2021 Easter Operation officially began, as every year, first thing in the morning the first filter on the Álvaro Obregón promenade and North Street was installed for the surveillance of vehicles.

Socorro Sinaí Montaño, Public Highway Police, explained that the first filter is to verify that the basic measures are respected when driving, as well as to inform the driver of the restrictions and protocols during the current pandemic.

“The recommendations are, wear a seat belt, do not use the phone while driving, do not drive if you are going to consume alcoholic beverages; the filter will be from 8am to 6pm, we will inform you that you will not be able to camp on the beaches and only a capacity of 50% will be allowed on each beach, as well as properly use the mask and avoid crowds “, he explained.

Sinaí Montaño, explained that, as previously announced at the entrance to beaches such as San Juan de la Costa, Eréndira beach, Balandra, Tecolote, Las Cruces, La Ventana and El Sargento, the sanitary filters will be installed in order to supervise that citizens comply with the agreed measures, both on the journey and during their stay, in addition to helping walkers if they require support.

It is necessary to remember that the beaches will be open from 6 am to 6 pm from this Wednesday, March 31 to Sunday, April 4, with a capacity of 50% of the capacity, once the maximum capacity has been reached. , no more people will be allowed to enter; Likewise, tours will be carried out at different times to prevent people from camping on the beaches , as agreed by the Health Council.

In the same way, as of this Wednesday, March 31, cleaning operations will be installed on the different beaches of the city of La Paz and Delegations of the municipality by the Federal Maritime Terrestrial Zone, in which in addition to monitoring compliance with capacity, cleanliness and hygiene will be monitored in each of the spaces.
