An Italian man living in a community in Yucatán sets the example by picking up trash from the streets and asks the community to follow him.

Among the news today that is causing controversy on social networks, a foreign man is reported asking a community in Yucatán to keep the streets clean of garbage.

The man’s name is Alessandro, of Italian origin and who has been living for some time in Valladolid, Yucatán.

This stranger became news after a social media user who calls himself Gio V., shared photos of the man cleaning the streets of the community.

According to Gio, Alessandro gave “a very big lesson” by cleaning the streets and inviting his neighbors to do the same.

This Italian has inspired the people of Valladolid, making Gio and some of his neighbors take the decision of helping the Italian to clean the streets, leaving two blocks free of garbage.

“If we want a clean world, we have to clean IT UP.”

Those were the alleged words of the Italian, to invite his neighbors to clean the streets.

It is worth mentioning that Gio stated that if we all had the spirit of this foreigner, the planet would be a totally different place.

After making the work of this foreigner known, several users of social networks could not help reacting, claiming that it is usually foreigners who set the example, however, a woman named Raquel G., said that her father is Yucatecan and gets up early every day to sweep the entire corner of his house and keep it litter-free.
