2 Horseback riding at sunset
If you want a magical day of fresh air, nature, spectacular views from the top, streams and a dreamy sunset, get on a horse and go slowly through the Cañada de la Virgen. 3 Mojigangas 62 (Casa Mojigangas)
This is the workshop of Hermes Arroyo, one of the most important artists in San Miguel Allende, recognized for his work in cardboard (he has even exhibited his pieces in the Vatican). Here mojigangas (giant cardboard dolls) are made that are used for alleys and state festivities. The fun thing is to take the cardboard workshop to make your own crafts, it lasts four hours and is private per group and with prior reservation.

4 Where to eat
The gastronomic scene in San Miguel Allende is buoyant, with a varied offer of local fine dining . Panio has become a must-see when you go to San Miguel de Allende, as it is perhaps the best place to go for bread and coffee – or a full breakfast. 6 Where to sleep
To rest and not leave the city center much, go to Hotel La Morada. This is located just a few steps from the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel and the Jardin Allende.
