The dispute between the Sinaloa and Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartels, in the states of Zacatecas and San Luis Potosí, has caused an increase in violence.
Faced with the dispute between the Sinaloa (CDS) and Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) cartels, the state of Zacatecas and San Luis Potosí, the region has been classified as a hotbed of violence for the country.
On November 8, eight people were executed in different parts of Zacatecas, for which the murders from January to September have increased by 66 percent, according to data from the National Public Security System (SNSP).
On the night of Sunday, October 25, four members of the Police of Pinos, Zacatecas, were killed in a confrontation with armed civilians and another was injured when they responded to a 911 emergency call.
