Mazatlán, Sinaloa. – Women who have not yet undergone their annual mammogram can now go to the nearest Health Centers in their region to have a clinical breast examination, reported the coordinator of the Cancer Program for Women in the southern part of the state.
Judith Peraza Zatarain, explained that after this checkup, the health personnel gives the patient her pass so that they can later attend the General Hospital of Mazatlán for the preventive examination, starting at 8:00 in the morning from Monday to Friday.
“We are inviting the entire female population to come with us from 40, 40 to 69 for their studies, we are waiting for them. We have 47 Health Centers that are at your disposal, so come in and know that the study is totally free ”.
She recalled that when going to her appointment, she must attend after having done his personal hygiene, as well as not having applied perfumes, creams, and/or deodorants.
Finally, the state official added that women over 25 years of age should also have their clinical breast examinations carried out in a preventive manner and that in addition, this women’s medical service will once again be permanent as the Ministry of Health had been handling before the pandemic.
