“El Crispin” alleged CJNG leader is detained in Temixco, Morelos

“El Crispín”, the alleged leader of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG), and main generator of violence in the state of Morelos, was arrested by the state’s authorities.

“On Monday, April 13, Crispín “N” was detained and identified as a suspected leader of the criminal group Guerreros Unidos associated with the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG), in Cuernavaca, Morelos”, the State Government reported in a press release.

“El Crispín”, as he is known, was the main operator in the distribution of narcotics in the metropolitan area and southern region of the state, according to information gathered by local authorities.

It was thanks to the inter-institutional work of the corporations that make up the State Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace, that the capture of Crispín Gaspar Cortés, the leader of the CJNG in Morelos, and three other suspects as possible.
