Carlos Gandarilla García, responsible for Linking with municipalities within the Health Security Council, reported that 12 places were identified in the municipalities of Culiacán, Mazatlán, Los Mochis, Salvador Alvarado, and Guasave, where 2,384 care modules could be enabled timely in cases of COVID-19 coronavirus.

“Mexico and Sinaloa are experiencing an emergency situation due to the coronavirus, we must prevent the virus from spreading by staying at home and following the recommendations of the health authorities,” he said.

He explained that the analyzed buildings have the basic services of drinking water, sanitary drainage, electricity, and air conditioning; in addition to equipment that would allow the empowerment of modules for case care in the health emergency caused by the COVID-19.

He added that, so far, the venues endorsed by the Health Security Council are the “María del Rosario Espinoza” gym in Culiacán, and the multi-use centers in Mazatlán and Los Mochis; the rest continue in valuation.

Carlos Gandarilla indicated that, along with these buildings, another type of infrastructure is also being analyzed, which if necessary would be used for the care and surveillance of people infected by the coronavirus.

The State Government has activated the call center at 6677-13-00-63 , a number that should be called by those who consider themselves to be carriers of the virus to receive the guidance and attention of a doctor.
