Mazatlán, Sinaloa .- The hotel sector in Mazatlán is being “attacked” by the Covid-19 coronavirus, accepted the president of the Concanaco Servytur Hotel and Motel Commission, Guillermo Romero Rodríguez.
The company assured that the occupation levels for the Easter holiday period are at 30 percent on average, after having reached 80 percent levels, he revealed.
The businessman commented that if this virus did not exist, the reservation books would already be around 100 percent.
“Mazatlán we have an average 30 percent. However, right now we should be at 100 percent for the two weeks Easter break and we are not like that, “he said.
In turn, he revealed that there are hotels that only have 10 percent of reservations.

With the goal of protecting its employees and clients, the Aguamarina Hotel will close its facilities until April 20.
In a statement on its website (aguamarina.com) reported that the restaurant areas, events and rooms will be closed until the aforementioned date.
