Mother Nature gives Santa Gertrudis, located in the Badiraguato mountain range a winter landscape

Santa Gertrudis, Badiraguato.- At 2,500 meters above the sea emerges the Sierra Madre Occidental dressed in white with the first snowfall of the season.

Although this Friday the sky dawned clean and without clouds or rains, the top of the mountains still looked bright white, with pines dressed in their glasses of the unique beauty of the snow.

Families like that of Juanita Vergara who is originally from El Durazno, but with residence in Culiacán knew that it had snowed after three years of not happening, and she came with her family and some friends to enjoy a walk in the snow.

Professor Martín Galindo, coordinator of the Rural School of Concentration located in the town of Santa Gertrudis, in the limits of Chihuahua, Durango, and Sinaloa, and Línea Directa toured part of the mountain column where he realized the majesty with which he dresses this winter.

In the distance you can still see the hill Huinora, belonging to Chihuahua, from where it seems to extend its white mantle towards this part of the Sinaloa mountain range where small houses with carpeted roofs of snow and chimneys let people know.
