Elijah Arroyo is a 2026 Super Bowl champion.

Mexico was well represented in the 2026 Super Bowlwith Elijah Arroyo, a tight end for the Seattle Seahawks who went from playing with the Cancun Trojans to being an NFL champion.

The tight end has Mexican roots thanks to his grandparents and the fact that he lived in Mexico, specifically in Cancun. Born in Orlando, Florida, Arroyo went to live in the Mexican Caribbean at the age of seven because of his parents’ work.

For six years, Elijah Arroyo played in Cancun with the Trojans. He then moved to Texas, where he excelled until earning a call-up with the University of Miami Hurricanes. In Draft 2025, he was selected in the second round by the Seahawks, and a year later, he is already a Super Bowl champion.
