The Mexican boy has already won national awards, represented Mexico at NASA, and dreams of studying at Harvard

David Camacho is a 10-year-old boy from Querétaro who, at his young age, has shown outstanding abilities, including his most recent IQ test, which scored 162, higher than that of the scientist Albert Einstein, father of the theory of relativity, which is 160.

The young prodigy has decided to publicly call himself David Da Vinci, due to the admiration of the Queretaro with the Italian Renaissance polymath Leonardo da Vinci. Under that name, he runs his social networks and personal projects, such as his YouTube channel.

Currently, the minor receives special education related to complex subjects for children of his age, such as physics and mathematics, because from an even younger age, he managed to master the common core of basic education.

The skills of the genius from Querétaro

Claudia, the mother of the genius, commented in an interview uploaded to the Facebook page, David da Vinci, that she began to notice the special qualities of her son since he turned four years old, and in addition to communicating perfectly, reading and writing, he was already able to recite the lyrics of 14 songs perfectly.

At 10 years old, David Camacho seeks to become a polymath like his idol, Leonardo da Vinci, and on his way to achieve this, in addition to having advanced knowledge for his age in physics and mathematics, he can speak English, French, and German perfectly.

He has shown extensive knowledge of the country’s history. In videos published on his streaming channel, he has explained topics such as the Independence of Mexico, the Revolution, and the history of voting.

In addition, he is considered a prodigy of the arts because he knows how to play the piano perfectly, and on his networks, he has uploaded videos playing melodies by Mozart and Beethoven. He also enjoys ballet and has uploaded videos dancing to “Swan Lake”.

Young David’s dream comes true

Recently, the child prodigy was selected to attend, along with 10 other child prodigies from around the world, at the simulation of the Jr. NASA 2024 space program.

In that event, the Mexican representative experienced flotation in a neutral state and practiced skydiving in a vertical wind tunnel. In addition, not only did he travel by plane for the first time, but he also had the opportunity to pilot it with the supervision of experts.

“An unforgettable experience, I had never been on any plane, jet or plane, and on this trip to the #NASA, not only did I get on a commercial plane for the first time, but I had the opportunity to pilot my own aircraft, incredible…” shared on his Facebook page.

Among his pending goals is to study at the prestigious Harvard University, and to seek funding for educational causes, as well as to help young talents who do not have enough economic support to develop.

“More than a genius, what I really consider myself is a disciplined child who prepares every day with enthusiasm and great passion,” David Camacho shares on his social networks.
