Scuba Claus is in town!
The zoo pays homage to the seas and uniquely celebrates the holiday season. Kaled José Miguel Ceja Gómez, a diver dressed as Santa Claus, dives into the gar tank to create the best underwater scenes.
With a Christmas village as a backdrop, the Guadalajara Zoo’s underwater Santa begins a show with acrobatic stunts, greeting visitors through the glass.
Santa dives underwater until he appears in front of the glass, greets the children, and receives their letters.
He wears a wetsuit under his costume, water shoes, and a mask.
Santa dives into tank E6, which is 5 meters (16 feet) deep.
