An operation by the Tabasco Olmeca Regional Institutional Force uncovered the luxury and impunity with which a Chiapas businessman lived in Villahermosa, Tabasco.
The residence, located in the Traconis ranch, concealed millions in assets and illegal exotic wildlife.
Among the seized items were: a private helicopter, luxury vehicles, including a Porsche, as well as an arsenal of assault weapons and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
As if that weren’t enough, there was also a private zoo, with a zebra, an ostrich, giant tortoises, and several endangered birds, including six blue-headed macaws, four green-headed macaws, and three yellow-headed parrots.
Although no one was arrested, authorities confirmed that the property belongs to Mario “N,” a Chiapas businessman investigated for alleged ties to the criminal group “La Barredora.”
