The bodies of an influencer and her whole family were found inside a car in Guadalajara, Jalisco
The bodies of Esmeralda, a content creator, her husband, and their two minor children were found in a van on August 22 in San Andrés, Guadalajara.
Although the identity of the victims was initially unknown, it was revealed this Friday, August 29. Authorities also detailed that they were originally from Michoacán and had recently moved there.
According to local sources, the father of the family was a car salesman, and the family’s bodies were found in his auto repair shop. The investigation into the incident continues.
The man had arrived to work at the agency a few months earlier. According to the executive deputy prosecutor for Criminal Investigation, Alfonso Gutiérrez Santillán, the initial lines of investigation point to the father’s activities, who was involved in the purchase and sale of vehicles and tomato production in Michoacán.
The investigation allowed them to track part of the truck’s route using video surveillance cameras, which led to the location of a nearby auto repair shop, where, the official explained, evidence was found suggesting that the crime occurred there.
