Officers from the Guadalupe Municipal Police Motorized Unit in Nuevo León arrested a man from Monclova, Coahuila, who was under house arrest for public health offenses after being caught allegedly engaging in drug dealing in the 2 Ríos neighborhood.

The detainee was identified as Ervey Sebastián “N,” 24, who resides in the same neighborhood where the arrest was made. According to official reports, police officers were patrolling the intersection of Río Ana and Río La Silla streets when they observed two men arguing and struggling in a park.

Police officers seized 15 bags of crystal meth and a cell phone during the arrest of the alleged drug dealer.

As they approached, the officers noticed that both were wearing fanny packs, prompting immediate intervention. After a struggle, the officers arrested one of the suspects while a precautionary search was conducted. During the search, they seized 15 doses of a substance similar to crystal meth, as well as a cell phone.

Personnel from the Precautionary Measures Unit (UMECA) confirmed that Ervey Sebastián was under house arrest in the same neighborhood, as a measure stemming from previous charges for public health offenses. His repeated illegal activities prompted the officers to immediately arrest him.

Finally, the detainee was brought before the Public Prosecutor’s Office for public health offenses. According to authorities, this arrest will result in his direct transfer to a men’s prison, temporarily canceling any current house arrest benefits he previously had.
