On July 17th, Tenants kidnap landlord in Nuevo León; he had gone to collect rent.
A 44-year-old man was allegedly kidnapped and tortured for two days by his tenants after going to collect rent at a home in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, in Monterrey.
Local police were able to intervene after hearing cries for help coming from inside the home, and three people were arrested at the scene.
Authorities are conducting the corresponding investigations into the incident.
