Video surveillance cameras captured the exact moment of a femicide in Guadalajara, Jalisco, where a man shot his ex-partner at point-blank range with an assault rifle.
On July 13, a 28-year-old woman was murdered in Guadalajara, Jalisco, by a man (her ex-partner), who shot her in the head at point-blank range with an assault rifle. The femicide was recorded on video.
According to information shared by the Sororas Violetas Jalisco collective, the events occurred between Hacienda Cedros and Hacienda de Calderón streets, in the Plutarco ElÃas Calles Residential neighborhood of Guadalajara.
The images released, captured by a video surveillance camera, show the attacker in front of the victim’s home. He called her to come out of her home and meet him on the street, which she did.
Moments later, after an altercation, the murderer is seen opening one of his car doors and taking out a high-caliber long weapon, which he used to threaten the young woman by firing a warning shot before shooting her directly in the head.
The video shows that, after the shot, the woman instantly fell to the ground, where she lay unresponsive. The murderer, for his part, got into his car and fled the scene.
