Hernán Bermúdez, former head of security in Tabasco, is an international fugitive for alleged ties to the criminal group La Barredora.
It has been confirmed that Hernán Bermúdez Requena, former Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) of Tabasco during the administration of Adán Augusto López Hernández, has an arrest warrant out for him.
Commander Miguel Ángel López Martínez released the information.
Hernán Bermúdez Requena is wanted for allegedly having ties to the criminal organization “La Barredora,” a cell of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
He is accused of organized crime, extortion, and drug trafficking-related activities.
In an interview with the local press, López Martínez explained that the former official was known as “Commander H” within La Barredora.
The warrant was issued on February 14, and upon learning of the incident, according to unofficial sources, he could be in Panama or Brazil.
