A teenager was present at the scene, but managed to escape unharmed when he hid under one of the vehicles.
The state Attorney General’s Office reported that the incident occurred on Friday, July 4th, around three in the afternoon at the business called AutoFiar, and four people were confirmed dead at the scene.
After the armed attack, the suspects set fire to the business, and two vehicles were partially burned.
According to witnesses, the armed men arrived at the scene in two vehicles, which they escaped in along with two cars they stole from the lot.

It is presumed that these events could be a “settling of scores” by organized crime against the men who were killed.
The dispute between alleged members of rival organized crime groups for territorial control in Nuevo León has led to a worsening insecurity in the state.
According to figures from the state Attorney General’s Office, from January to May, Nuevo León recorded 615 intentional homicides, most of them related to the dispute over control of drug sales.
State authorities, in coordination with federal authorities, have undertaken the fight against drug trafficking through the Metropolitan Coordination Operations and Operation Muralla, which have been implemented in the state.
