12 people were arrested, including 5 minors… all of them are family members!

TORREÓN, COAHUILA.- In a coordinated effort, the Torreón Reaction Group (GRT) of the State Police, the Criminal Investigation Agency, and the Municipal Police seized 40 packages totaling approximately 20 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and arrested 7 men and 5 minors.

Yinkarlo Neftali “N” is identified as the main target, while the minors linked to the illicit activities were handed over to the Children and Family Prosecutor’s Office (Pronnif).

The group of people, all family members, was traveling in a vehicle that officers stopped at an inspection checkpoint set up on the North Bypass. During the search, they found drug doses among their belongings.

As a result of this operation, municipal officers, in coordination with personnel from the Municipal Police’s canine unit and agents from the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), as well as the Strategic Operations Center (COE) of the Coahuila State Attorney General’s Office, conducted a search warrant at a home linked to the detainees, located in the La Fe neighborhood, in the western part of Torreón. They found 40 drug packages totaling approximately 20 kilograms of methamphetamine (crystal methamphetamine).
