Two alleged members of the Michoacán Milenio Cartel and another person originally from Yucatán were arrested following an anti-drug operation at a ranch in Buctzotz.
According to information obtained, the operation was carried out by the Yucatán State Investigation Police (PEI) of the SSP (Public Security Secretariat of Yucatán), in coordination with the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, and the Mexican Army, who carried out the search at the El Cedro ranch.
The arrest of these three individuals reportedly occurred after the arrival in the Yucatecan municipality of a close relative of Servando Gómez Martínez, alias La Tuta, former leader of the defunct Knights Templar group and the Familia Michoacana.
The suspect arrived at the aforementioned ranch to attend a party, which was raided minutes later by federal and state forces, where three people were arrested: two men and a woman. Drugs and firearms, such as AK-47s, were seized.
Those arrested were B. Valencia, alias “María la Michoacana,” and her brother A. Valencia, both children of the Valencia brothers, founders of the Milenio Cartel in Aguililla, Michoacán. J.C., originally from Buctzotz, was also arrested.
