State authorities reported the murder of 11 people in Acapulco: eight dismembered in taxis, one executed outside a prison, and two more in the city center. A vehicle was set on fire on public roads.

A violent day in Acapulco left eleven people dead, including three women. Five of the victims were found dismembered inside a taxi, while three others were executed inside a public vehicle.

In addition, an armed attack against a family in the city center resulted in two deaths and three injuries. Separately, a public vehicle was set on fire in the western part of the city.

One of the most serious incidents was reported when authorities located an abandoned taxi on Vicente Guerrero Boulevard, near Plaza Caracol and the Central de Abasto (Basque Market).

Inside the vehicle, officers found the dismembered bodies of four men and a woman. They also found a message related to organized crime, the contents of which were not disclosed.

Hours earlier, around 1:00 p.m., another discovery was reported on Lázaro Cárdenas Avenue, across from the town of La Sabana. The bodies of two women and a man, all with gunshot wounds, were found in the trunk of a shared taxi.

The victims, whose identities have not yet been confirmed, were taken to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) for further investigation.

In another case, a man was murdered inside a feeder taxi in the Libertadores neighborhood, shortly after leaving the Las Cruces prison.

The attack occurred around 10:00 p.m. on Adobería Street, where gunmen opened fire without warning on the family members.
