Flooded roads, collapsed fences, and fallen trees are the scene on the streets of Pachuca, Hidalgo, after heavy rains over the past three days.
Collapsed fences, flooded roads and boulevards, and even a wall collapsed were the result of rainfall in the metropolitan area of Pachuca, Hidalgo, where the storm of the past three days has caused severe flooding in the city.
The most affected area today was the Pachuca-Ciudad Sahagún highway, from the entrance to the San Fernando subdivision to the municipal slaughterhouse, which was practically impassable due to the level of flooding.
In addition, some homes were reported to have been flooded, located in the Los Encinos subdivision, La Providencia, El Saucillo, Carboneras, and the Taxistas neighborhood, in the municipality of Mineral de la Reforma.
Other affected areas included the Pachuca-Tulancingo highway near the Taxistas neighborhood; Luis Donaldo Colosio Boulevard near Chacón; and the Independencia Boulevard Tunnel.
Civil protection and firefighters reported a fallen tree on the side of the Pachuca-Ciudad Sahagún highway in the El Saucillo neighborhood, where a local road was destroyed. A fence also collapsed in Rinconada La Providencia.
