User reports abuse of her dog “Maple” on a Miami-Mexico City Aeromexico flight.
A user identified as @Lorelo reported that her dog, named “Maple,” suffered abuse at the hands of an airline on a flight from Miami to Mexico City on May 15.
In a video posted on social media, she explained that “Maple” and another of her dogs had to be checked in due to their weight and size.
According to Maple’s owners, they asked why their dogs weren’t being let out after arriving at the Mexico City airport. When they questioned the airline staff, they were not explained, leading them to accuse them of a lack of professionalism and ethics.
Thirty minutes later, after all the passengers’ bags had been loaded, Maple was returned to her owners in visibly poor condition, as she was bleeding and in an apparent state of shock.
After landing, both pets were injured and disoriented. However, Maple had blood stains and had to be hospitalized.
According to this version, airline personnel did not take responsibility for the incident, and an investigation is being demanded.
