Content creator Valeria Márquez was live streaming inside Blossom The Beauty Lounge in the Real del Carmen neighborhood of Zapopan, Jalisco, when she was shot by a man who entered the establishment and opened fire. The victim is a 23-year-old woman.
The Jalisco State Attorney General’s Office is investigating the death of Valeria Márquez, a 23-year-old content creator, under the femicide protocol. She was shot to death this Monday afternoon inside a beauty salon located on Avenida del Servidor Público in the Real del Carmen neighborhood of Zapopan
The attack occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m., when the victim was recording a live video inside the establishment. According to witnesses, a man entered the establishment, approached her directly, and shot her at close range. After committing the crime, the assailant fled the scene.
Municipal Police officers responded to the scene following a 911 report and confirmed the young woman’s death. Paramedics confirmed that she no longer showed vital signs.
The incident was captured on security cameras.
The area was secured by Municipal Police officers and National Guard personnel. The incident was captured on security cameras at neighboring businesses, whose images are now part of the investigation file.
