Gerardo Fernández Noroña Shows Off Trip to France on Social Networks.

Senate President Gerardo Fernández Noroña is already in Strasbourg, France, where he will participate starting this Thursday in an International Parliament attended by more than 50 European parliament presidents.

Images of the Morena legislator on the Air France flight, traveling first class, are circulating on social media.

Fernández Noroña himself, whose birthday was this Wednesday, shared a photo aboard a train that took him from Paris to Strasbourg.

“Here I am, marking my 65th birthday on my way to Strasbourg,” he commented in the post.

He also published photographs of Strasbourg Cathedral, which he described as “impressive” and “beautiful.”

Hours later, he broadcast his daily live video chat in which he boasted about his stay in Europe, “so that the envious can burn.”

He said it was the first time he had traveled to a distant country as president of the Senate, having only traveled to Honduras last month.
