The state of Sinaloa is looking forward to participating in the 49th edition of the Tianguis Turistico which will take place from April 28 to May 1 in Rosarito, Baja California.
The Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa, Mireya Sosa Osuna, revealed that the state’s participation in Mexico’s most important tourism festival will have an investment of 4 million pesos.
She commented that 20 municipalities were invited, of which 13 have already confirmed their attendance, and, of course, Mazatlán is among them.
“It begins on April 28 and will be the first time it will be held between two countries, in the cities of San Diego and Rosarito, Baja California, and we will kick off with a taco activation,” she said.
The event promotes Mexico’s wide variety of tourism destinations and products nationally and internationally.
32 states, more than 900 exhibiting companies, and buyers from all five continents are participating.
At this event, participants will be able to make business appointments, attend exhibitions, and establish commercial alliances with wholesalers and airlines of their choice, with more than 40 countries in attendance.
“As part of the tourism event, 900 wholesalers from natural source destinations are registered, with Mazatlán serving direct flights to Denver, California, and Dallas,” she stated.
The state official clarified that this year the federal Ministry of Tourism informed them of the new savings vision, changing the way each state’s image is displayed and standardizing the stands, seeking to prioritize the Mexico brand through the most representative elements of each state.
