After seven months, the Russian boy who was abandoned in a hotel in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, was repatriated to his native country and handed over to his relatives on February 19.

At all times during the trip that stopped in Barcelona, ​​the three-year-old was accompanied by two Child Protection Officers.

Finally, the child arrived in Moscow, where he was received by his relatives, while the Russian Embassy in Mexico thanked the authorities of our country.

The minor was found alone in a hotel room, after guests reported his constant crying.

The minor was abandoned on July 22, 2024, at the Las Quintas hotel, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

Guests alerted the hotel administration about the crying of a minor inside a room.

Upon arriving at the scene, authorities from the Coahuila State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) and the Preventive Police found the boy alone, with no trace of his parents, who, according to initial investigations, had rented the room that same afternoon.
