The daughter of a prominent UNACH director is accusing her own father of sexual abuse.
Gina Esquinca accused her father, Héctor Esquinca, director of the School of Chemical Sciences at the Autonomous University of Chiapas (UNACH), of sexually abusing her, and is demanding his dismissal.
The 46-year-old woman filed her complaint with the corresponding authorities and made her story public on social media, accusing the official of sexually assaulting her when she was a child.
In a public letter, she details that the man had also abused two of her brothers and two cousins, accusations that UNACH has promised to investigate, and suspended the accused from his duties.
