The Acostas Tours bus ended up burned after colliding with a trailer during its journey from Cancun to Tabasco.
Escárcega, Campeche.- A passenger bus from the Acostas Tours line was burned on the Federal Escárcega highway, Campeche after colliding with a trailer in the early hours of Saturday, February 8.
Preliminary data details that the accident occurred at 2 a.m. when the bus left Cancun, Quintana Roo, and was headed to Tabasco.
The governor of Tabasco Javier May published the following message on social networks:
“We deeply regret the accident that occurred this morning, near Escárcega, of a bus that was coming from Cancun to Tabasco. We are coordinating with federal and Campeche authorities for the required attention. The Secretary of Government is closely following up on the situation.”
Lamentamos mucho el accidente ocurrido esta madrugada, a la altura de Escárcega, de un autobús que venía de Cancún a Tabasco. Estamos coordinados con autoridades federales y de Campeche para la atención requerida. El Secretario de Gobierno da seguimiento puntual a la situación.
