Smiling, in high spirits, wearing a black outfit that was comfortable but also sensual, Shakira arrived at the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) from Miami, Florida, on a private flight to stay a few weeks in Mexico to finish rehearsals for her upcoming world tour “Las mujeres ya no Lloran.”

“I’m staying a long time here in Mexico because we’re going to be doing seven concerts here in the city,” said Shakira, who looked excited about the brief meeting she had with some fans.

The artist will offer seven concerts in Mexico City, as well as shows in Monterrey and Guadalajara.

The 47-year-old singer was greeted by dozens of fans who shouted “Shakira, sister, you’re Mexican now.” Upon hearing this phrase in unison, the singer hugged her fans and began jumping with them.

The Colombian expressed her excitement about returning to the stage and singing hits like “Loba,” “Ojos así,” “Las Hipos no Mienten” or “Waka waka” with the people who have supported her.

“I really want to meet them (fans) again, with all my pack… Long live Mexico: auuuh!” exclaimed the composer.

The Colombian indicated that her vocal cords are doing very well, after having a vascular problem a few years ago, which made her doubt whether she could sing again.

Shakira arrives in Mexico with a craving for Mexican food.

The Colombian star revealed that for some time she has had a tremendous craving for Mexican cuisine.

“I want some tacos and Flautas, I love Flautas and something that I really like is a big plate of jicama with salt and lemon,” confessed the singer.

Before Shakira got off her private plane, her team helped unload the suitcases, there were approximately 15 of them.

Her followers brought posters, photos, CDs, vinyl records, and t-shirts with the face of the Barranquilla native, and other objects that she gladly signed.
