On December 24th, a trailer full of frozen chicken overturned on the Mexico-Cuernavaca highway.
A cargo truck carrying frozen chickens overturned early on the morning of Christmas Eve, on the Mexico-Cuernavaca highway at kilometer 66, near La Pera, causing a partial closure and general chaos.
The authorities’ report indicates that the driver lost control during the curve. When he crashed into the retaining wall, the cargo box fractured, causing its contents to spill onto the road.
The section that was closed for road clearance maneuvers was reopened shortly after 11 a.m., although it caused traffic and transportation delays.
