The SSP and FGE are working in a coordinated manner against crime in the Municipality of San Cristobal de las Casas.
In an inter-institutional operation coordinated between the State Attorney General’s Office and the Secretariat of Public Security, five people who were engaged in the crime of extortion were arrested.
The FGE filed an investigation file for the crime that the Mexican law defines as aggravated extortion, committed against two people whose identity is protected.
The alleged perpetrators named Carlos “N”, Julio “N”, Carlos “N”, Alejandro “N”, and Santifi “N” were arrested in the municipality of San Fernando, as a result of a search warrant, where a female person and 5 vehicles of the Ibiza, GMC, RAM, Volkswagen brands were seized.
It should be mentioned that the defendants named Carlos “N”, Julio “N”, Carlos “N”, served as members of the Investigative Police.
