The Chinese electric vehicle company Yadea set up shop in Guadalajara in partnership with Suomi to operate its first dealership in that region.

With headquarters in Wuxi, China, Yadea wants to catapult itself into the region from its operations in Jalisco, Mexico.

Last year alone, Yadea placed nearly 17 million electric vehicles, being the number one worldwide in the sector for seven years.

The agreement reached between Yadea and Suomi will allow the Mexican market to access sustainable, efficient means of transport with the best quality on the market, and help to reduce the carbon footprint with its electric units.

“What we seek is to transform mobility in Mexico, making it accessible and sustainable. To achieve this, we are doing it hand in hand with the number one brand in the world in this sector and we are starting it in Jalisco, the most important technological center in Mexico and one of the most important in the world,” said Erika Santos, director of Yadea Suomi.
